The chemical name of H2O2 is hydrogen peroxide. Most of the hydrogen peroxide in the market are products with a concentration of 30% - 35%. They are colorless and transparent solutions, which are corrosive to the skin. Because of their active nature and easy to decompose, they should be stored in closed containers as far as possible to prevent sunlight, and should not be stored for a long time
Store in a cool and ventilated warehouse. Keep away from kindling and heat sources. The storage temperature should not exceed 30 ° C. Keep container sealed. It shall be stored separately from combustible (combustible) substances, reducing agents, active metal powder, etc., and mixed storage is strictly prohibited. The storage area shall be equipped with leakage emergency treatment equipment and appropriate storage materials.
Requirements for storage and transportation of hydrogen peroxide
1) The hydrogen peroxide shall be packaged and delivered in plastic or stainless steel containers, and its upper cover shall be equipped with dust-proof exhaust ports to safely release the gas that may be generated and avoid explosion
2) Hydrogen peroxide is a strong oxidant and corrosive, so attention should be paid to painting the "corrosive article mark" specified in GB190 and the "upward mark" specified in GB191 on the storage and transportation containers
3) Organize transportation according to the transportation rules of oxidant to prevent violent vibration
4) Hydrogen peroxide should be stored in a cool and ventilated warehouse. Avoid direct sunlight or heat during storage and transportation
5) It is strictly prohibited to store and transport together with alkali, metal and metal compounds, inflammables, reducing agents, etc
6) Do not touch the hydrogen peroxide directly with your hands. Wear plastic gloves during operation. When the hydrogen peroxide is contaminated with the human body or splashed into the eyes, immediately wash it with a large amount of water or 3% KMn04 solution
7. When the package breaks and leaks or when the overflowing double-gas water contacts with combustible substances, it should be washed off immediately with a large amount of water
8) Equipment and containers that contact or store hydrogen peroxide shall have large enough exhaust ports to prevent fire and explosion accidents caused by overpressure explosion caused by equipment pressure
9) The materials of equipment, pipes, pipe fittings and other materials used in the production of hydrogen peroxide shall comply with relevant standards, and shall be cleaned and qualified to prevent heavy metal ions from entering the hydrogen peroxide water and causing decomposition
10) It is prohibited to mix hydrogen peroxide or materials containing hydrogen peroxide with other substances that can cause hydrogen peroxide decomposition due to certain reasons (such as valve internal leakage and operation error), and disconnect the connecting pipeline when necessary.
11) Hydrogen peroxide shall not be in contact with combustibles and reducing agents. In case of hydrogen peroxide leakage or contact with combustibles, a large amount of water shall be immediately used for flushing and dilution.
12) The container shall be capped and vented to maintain the purity of H202 in the container and prevent pollution
13) This product is packed in polyethylene drums, and the cover of the packaging container has small exhaust holes.
Storage conditions: Store in a cool and ventilated special warehouse away from fire, heat source and direct sunlight. The temperature of the warehouse shall not exceed 30 ° C. Isolate from various strong oxidants, flammable liquids and flammable substances.
